Domestic Violence Emergency Response Service (DVERS)

Since 1991, ADT has been offering help to victims of domestic violence across Canada

At ADT, we believe that by doing business in the community there is an inherent obligation to improve the safety and security of community neighbourhoods. To do this, ADT participates in a variety of crime reduction and education programs, working closely with municipal authorities to educate people on personal safety and security issues.

Community involvement is one of the reasons we created the ADT DVERS (Domestic Violence Emergency Response Service) program. Operating in 38 communities across Canada, DVERS provides families at high risk of domestic violence with monitored security at no charge to them or the community.

In 1999, ADT was honoured by the government of B.C. as the corporate winner of the ’Building a Safer Future Awards’ for its contribution to communities across Canada.
