False Alarm Dispatch Elimination (FADE)

False alarms can cost you hundreds of dollars, and cost your community much more.

ADT pioneered the False Alarm Dispatch Elimination (FADE) project in an effort to reduce the number of false alarms dispatched to police, fire and emergency vehicles. FADE has led to a drastic decrease in the number of false alarms. Most importantly, FADE promotes a high level of commitment to education, both for the customer and for ADT personnel.

FADE includes:

• A five-day familiarization period prior to placing a system in service.
• False Alarm tips to familiarize you with proper operation of your ADT system.
• Advanced technology that strictly complies with regulations for alarm detection services.
• A new, free program called Enhanced Call Verification (ECV), which enables the ADT Monitoring Centre to contact additional people to confirm your alarm.
