24 Hour Monitoring

How Monitoring Works:

Basic monitoring combines an elegant simplicity with advanced technology and the responsiveness of trained, concerned employees.

  1. Communication with ADT begins when a sensor or contact detects an intruder, fire, or other change and activates an alarm.
  2. The keypad sends a signal to the main panel.
  3. The main panel seizes the phone line and dials the ADT monitoring center, known as the Customer Monitoring Center.
  4. An ADT operator then contacts the customer and/or the proper authorities.
